Privacy Policy

Skyvora is a free VPN service. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use the Skyvora app or this website.

1. Information we do not collect

Skyvora has no sign-up process, so we never receive:

• Your name, email address or phone number
• Any password or login credentials
• Payment or billing details — the service is free, so we never ask
• A log of the websites, apps or services you connect to through the VPN
• The contents of your traffic

We do not sell, rent or trade any information about you, and we do not include advertising or third-party trackers or analytics in the app.

2. Information that is necessarily processed

A VPN works by relaying your traffic, so some data must pass through our servers for the service to function at all:

• Your IP address is visible to our server while you are connected, because that is how the connection reaches you. It is used to carry your traffic and is not stored in a connection log.
• Traffic in transit passes through the server so it can be forwarded to its destination. It is not recorded or inspected for content.
• Error and diagnostic messages. Our servers record operational errors so we can keep the service running. These are not a history of your browsing.

3. This website

Like almost every website, our web server keeps standard access logs when you visit skyvora.app or download the app. These contain the IP address of the request, the time, and which page or file was requested. They are used to operate and secure the site — for example to detect abuse — and are not connected to your VPN activity.

4. What the app stores on your device

The app keeps a small amount of data locally on your phone, which never leaves the device except as described above:

• The server you last selected, so it is remembered next time
• A cached copy of the server list
• A crash report file, if the app has failed, so a problem can be diagnosed

Uninstalling the app removes all of it.

5. Permissions the app requests

• VPN connection. Required. Android shows its own confirmation dialog before any VPN app can run, and you must approve it.
• Notifications. Used only to show whether the VPN is currently connected. Android requires an ongoing notification while a VPN is active.
• Network state. Used to detect the network you are on so the connection can be maintained when you move between Wi-Fi and mobile data.

Skyvora does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.

6. Prohibited use and enforcement

Peer-to-peer and BitTorrent traffic is blocked on our servers. We may also apply technical limits to prevent abuse that would degrade the service for other users. See our Terms of Service.

7. Legal requests

Because we do not keep records of what users connect to, we generally have no such information to provide in response to a request. Where we are legally required to act on a valid order, we can only supply information we actually hold.

8. Children

Skyvora is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
